Volunteer Opportunities at Portland Impact

Portland's Innovative City to Youth Initiative

The City of Portland is again showing its profound investment in our City’s youth, coupling investments of time with their money!  This innovative pilot program will give city employees up to 4 hours of paid time off to invest in the lives of at risk young people through volunteer activities such as those we offer at Portland Impact:  as tutors and mentors, teaching a SUN class, coaching a soccer team, helping with a community project at a local school or community organization. 

We’re hoping other corporations will recognize what the City already knows:  that a strong, supportive community is a critical foundation to healthy, successful kids.  Money alone won’t do it.  Young people need the consistent investment of caring, tender hearts to hone their souls into responsible adulthood.
